Modern Religious Experience: Reflection Question #1: "According to Mircea Eliade religion has 'not vanished without a trace; [it] has contributed toward making us what we are today and so, after..."
I was a Christian my whole life and still am. I always thought that going to church was a every Sunday routine. I always thought that everyone went to church on Sundays until I had met an athiest. I was surprised to see someone who didn't know who God was. Later, I realized that there were many other religions in this world. In middle schol, I started to learn about other religions and how they were created. Why do we have religions?
There is no true proof to why and how there are religions. One prediction was that there were many responses to the mystery of life, and these responses had given rise to many different religions. According to Mircea Eliade, religion has "not vanish without a trace". Religions can't be erased as long humans think. A human being is very weak compared to any god, so they need someone to guide them.
